Author: Pierre Landry
In the summer of 1970, Plume Latraverse, poet Pierrot Léger, and Pierre Landry unexpectedly crossed paths in Percé; a chance encounter that would give birth to an unlikely trio called the Sainte-Trinité. Concocting an event that blended songs, poems, and monologues, the three lads performed in the streets of the village before taking over the local Art Center and, finally, a courtroom in the local courthouse. Back in Montreal, their show moved to the Imprévu, Place Jacques-Cartier, where they achieved massive success and enjoyed exceptional media coverage. Thanks to the October Crisis, the group would even be called the Entertainment Cell.
Pierre Landry tells us the incredible story of the Holy Trinity, who found himself at the forefront of a movement from which emerged one of our great national singers, Plume Latraverse.
