When I was young, I worked in an independent record store, a defining experience that instilled in me a passion for music and books. After studying and working at various jobs, I always held onto this dream of opening a cultural venue. When the pandemic brought down my previous business, my wife encouraged me to go for it: "It's now or never!" I found a space in Petite-Patrie and got started. Eighteen months later, Résonance has become a unique venue, with 2,000 titles, events, unforgettable encounters, and a community of enthusiasts.

What’s the delivery cost?
It depends on the weight and size of the book.
Worth noting, the cost is only $5 for small books such as the 33 1/3 series, as well as many others.
How long does delivery usually take?
Usually between 3 and 5 days, depending on where you live.
If you’re within 5 km of the bookstore, you’ll receive your order within 24 to 36 hours.
Do you buy used books?
Yes, absolutely!
The first step is to send us an email at librairieresonance@gmail.com with a few photos.
Then I’ll let you know the next step 😉.
If I don’t see the book I want, can you get it for me?
Yes, as long as it’s still in print.
Just fill out the contact form and let us know the title you’re looking for.
I’ll reply within 24 hours (48 hours max).
Do you carry vinyl records?
We have a small selection curated by me from a private collector.
However, until further notice, no delivery is available — you’ll have to come to the store.
